Rent the CCBC Center

Looking for a place to hold your next event in Boonville? The CCBC Community Center, or Sumner School, may be just the place you're looking for. Built in 1939, the Sumner School was built as an African American school on Rural Street, and is one of very few segregated schools that still function in the United States.

"Membership has its priviledges." To show our gratitude towards volunteer contribution to CCBC's activities throughout the year, CCBC Board of Directors awards membership statuses of "Club", "Silver", and "Gold." Reduced rental rates are offered to CCBC members based on their membership status. For more information about your membership status or to join the CCBC, please see our page on joining the CCBC or contact the CCBC.

A security deposit of $100/dining room and kitchen, $175/gymnasium, or $375/building must be paid at the time of scheduling your event. This deposit guarantees your event date(s). The deposit will be returned no later than three (3) days after a full inspection of the building has been conducted for damages and clean up.
